What health plans does Arena Health accept?

Arena Health partners with a broad range of commercial, Medicare Advantage, and Medi-Cal health plans. How do I choose or change my Primary Care Physician (PCP)?

Your Primary Care Physician is your main healthcare partner and helps coordinate your ongoing care. What should I do in an emergency?

If you’re experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately. Emergency care is covered, even if you’re treated outside of your network.
 

When will I receive my Welcome Packet and Member ID card?

After your enrollment is complete, your health plan will send a Welcome Packet that includes your Member ID card, information about your selected Primary Care Physician, plan benefits, and helpful resources for accessing your care.
 

What does my Primary Care Physician (PCP) do?

Your PCP serves as your primary healthcare provider, helping you stay healthy through preventive care, treating routine medical concerns, managing chronic conditions, and coordinating referrals to specialists whenever additional care is needed.
 

How do I get a referral to a specialist?

If specialized care is appropriate, your PCP will submit a referral on your behalf. Once the referral is approved, you’ll be notified and provided with the information needed to schedule your appointment.
 

How can I prepare for my appointment?

To help make your visit as productive as possible, we recommend bringing:

  • Your health insurance ID card

  • Any referral or authorization documents, if applicable

  • A list of your current medications

  • Notes about your symptoms, concerns, or questions for your provider
